I have always loved art. My mother was my first inspiration because she painted together with me when I was young. My mother never ever thought my disability should hold me back from the experience of beauty in this world, she only saw my abilities. After I was older, my mother encouraged me to take classes at the Massachusetts College of Art. These classes helped my work progress to a certain point, but I got stuck. I then saw some paintings by Professor Kaji Aso that moved my heart. I sought him at and took a class with him at the school of the Museum of Fine Arts. I then made great progress in my work and now continue to study with him at Kaji Aso Studio in Boston. His long term student Kate Finnegan has been giving me private lessons twice a week which has increased my stamina and productivity of Artwork.
